Joeys' Shows - European Classics

Some people call Joey Fimmano ‘Mr Music’, some call him ‘Mr Entertainment’ and both would be right, but the best way to describe him is simply ‘the consummate professional and master of his craft’.

Since a young boy, barely strong enough to carry his accordion, Joey has matured like a ripe juicy apple. His stage presence is magnetic, his skill as an accomplished pianist astounding, yet his hunger to embrace more from the industry we all call ‘Show’ was drawing him further into his appreciation of music, like a magnet.

The music from the genius of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is Joeys inspiration and he was determined to pay tribute by focussing almost entirely on producing a show that would pass any test of criticism. Bringing you the timeless music and songs from the London and Broadway hits of Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Joseph and his Technicolour  Dreamcoat, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Boy From Oz, Chess, The Sound of Music, Rogers and Hammerstein, Carousel, Jersey Boys … the list goes on. These classic hits have set the height of the bar for musical perfection below which no production can dare go. No matter the number of musicians from a solo pianist to a full orchestra the level has to be maintained and this production of Music of the Night truly delivers under the baton of musical director Michael Bellemore.

Great music demands great singers and, ready for your standing ovations are:

Leading Australian soprano, the hugely talented and utterly delightful JESSICA DI BARTOLO and Star of the West End and Australian productions of Miss Saigon, the charismatic DEXTER VILLAHERMOSA

With the production, musical arrangements and personal performance on show, you can be sure that Joey Fimmano delivers.

As one member of the audience wrote:

“I had the privilege of attending your performance at Orange Civic Theatre yesterday afternoon. I have attended Phantom of the Opera in Melbourne, Sydney and Broadway, New York. Your show was equally enjoyable as any I have seen. Bravo.”  - Beverley W

Don’t settle for second best. There’s only one production of Music of the Night. Be sure to book your seat when it comes to a theatre near you.

There are many delightful moments that unfold in this wonderful show but you have to come and see what everyone is talking about!
